The BTS Center is excited to announce that Alyssa Lodewick has been chosen to serve as Associate Director of The BTS Center beginning September 15. The selection committee was impressed with her breadth of education and work experiences, and her expertise in areas relevant to the mission of The Center, including educational administration, professional development, community organizing, and institutional advancement. She also has technological and communication skills we were seeking in the Associate Director.
Alyssa received MDiv and MSW degrees from Boston University Schools of Theology and Social Work in May 2013, and she was the class valedictorian for the School of Theology. She understands the changing landscape of religion in our regional context, having been raised and educated in New England. She also understands the changing needs of many of our constituents in northern New England, having served in the Placement Office of the Maine Conference UCC and taken classes at BTS.
A member of State Street UCC, Alyssa resides in the Portland area with her partner, Robyn. We are pleased to welcome her to the staff of The BTS Center.
